The Thornborough Heritage Trust's next public event is 'A Summer Walk through the Thornborough Landscape' on Saturday 20th July 2013:

10.45am. Arrive at Norton Conyers at Wath near Ripon.

11.ooam. Guided tour of the gardens of Norton Conyers - famous for its connection with the Brontes - with refreshments and talk in the Orangery (by kind permission of Sir James and Lady Graham)

12.30am. Depart by car for West Tanfield Village Hall and Car Park

Lunch. Either bring your own picnic or visit the pub in West Tanfield

1.30pm. Guided tour of the Thornborough henges and Neolithic round barrow (by kind permission of Staveley Estates and Richard Bourne-Arton)

3.30pm. Tea in West Tanfield Village Hall
